Privacy Policy

Template notice: this document is a structural starting point and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel adapt it to your jurisdiction and actual data practices before relying on it.

01Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to respond to enquiries and deliver engagements. Most of it you give us directly.

  • Contact details you submit through our forms — name, email address, company, budget range, and the content of your message.
  • Newsletter subscriptions, where we store the email address you provide.
  • Basic technical data from your browser, such as approximate region, device type, and referring page.
  • Usage analytics via Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser and records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device details. We have disabled Google Signals and ad personalisation, so this data is not used to build advertising profiles or shared with Google's advertising products.
  • Client project data you share with us during an engagement, which is governed by the separate agreement we sign with you.

02How We Use It

Enquiry details are used to reply to you, scope potential work, and prepare proposals. Newsletter addresses are used only to send the newsletter you asked for.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry or client data to train machine learning models for any purpose other than the engagement it belongs to. Where a project involves model training, the permitted data and retention period are defined in the engagement contract.

03Storage and Retention

Data is held on infrastructure operated by our hosting and email providers, which may process it in regions outside your own. Access is limited to team members who need it for the purpose it was collected.

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to evaluate and service the request, then deleted on a periodic review cycle. Newsletter addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Client project data is retained and deleted according to the terms of the relevant engagement.

04Third Party Services

We rely on a small number of processors to run the site and our operations. Each handles data only on our instructions.

  • Hosting and content delivery for serving this website.
  • Transactional email and newsletter delivery.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) for website usage analytics, configured with Google Signals and ad personalisation turned off.
  • Error monitoring.
  • Cloud and model providers used within a specific client engagement, disclosed to that client before use.

05Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, object to certain processing, or receive a copy in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any message.

06Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy can be sent to hello@grovector.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We will post material changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
